Praise Days 2023 is complete! Stay tuned for more info on praise days 2024!

Praise Days is a three-night event that was held on June 12-14 for incoming 1st-6th graders. Maranatha Praise Days is an opportunity to share and develop the gifts and talents that God has given each of us and use them to glorify Him. We meet each evening from 6:35-8:00pm for a time of energetic praise and creative opportunities.

Each child will choose one station in which they will participate on Monday and Tuesday. The stations will each have an age-appropriate project. At each station, the children will create something that they will display or demonstrate at the MARANATHA PRAISE DAYS CELEBRATION on Wednesday evening and then take home following the Celebration.

Below is a list of the stations that are available in 2023:

BAKING - Make and decorate a treat.

CREATIVE CREATIONS - Create a unique piece of art using a variety of objects.

ELECTRONICS/CIRCUITRY - Learn about and create circuits.

ENGINEERING - Build and experiment with models.

LEGO CONSTRUCTION - Design, build & take home your own creation.

PAPER MÂCHÉ - Learn how to make a paper mâché creation.

SEWING - Complete a sewing project.

TAE KWON DO - Learn the basics from experienced students and instructors.

WOODWORKING - Build and decorate a wood project.

Here’s a general schedule for Monday & Tuesday:

6:25-6:35pm Registration

6:35-6:50pm Worship

6:50-7:00pm Speaker

7:00-7:55pm Stations

8:00pm Grab a snack to-go / Parent Pickup

Take the whole family along to our family celebration on Wednesday night! The celebration will include dinner, a time to view the projects that the kids made, a time of worship, and a wrap-up from our speaker. Of course, no celebration would be complete without ice cream too!

SAFETY

We take your child's safety seriously at Maranatha.  All volunteers (18 and older) are required to complete Safe Church Training and complete a background check.  While working on our projects, we use safety equipment and follow safety guidelines. If you have questions, please contact the church and we will refer you to our Safe Church Team or our Praise Days Team.
